Experiences
AN ESCAPE like NO OTHER
Explore the Best of Jimbaran
Jimbaran rewards the curious: a beach 50m away, a fish market where you pick tonight’s dinner off the ice, and a bay lined with seafood grills that set up on the sand as golden hour approaches. Further out, a museum, a clifftop cultural park and a padel court fill the days you feel like moving.

MENEGA CAFÉ
Enjoy the classic Jimbaran night out: chairs on the beach, whole fish on the grill and the sun going down over the bay. 3.1km from the villa, Menega is one the best known seafood restaurants here, and the slightly chaotic ritual of it is very much the point. Come hungry and stay for the sunset.

CUCA
A short 1.7kn drive from the villa, Cuca does inventive tasting menus and sharp cocktails in a garden setting, for the evening you’d happily let someone else be clever with dinner. Book ahead; it draws a crowd, and deservedly so.

SUNDARA
3.4km from the villa, this beachfront restaurant at The Four Seasons sets the bar for scenic sundowners and seafood feasts: a long infinity pool, an even longer wine list, and Jimbaran bay laid out in front of you. Worth dressing up for, at least once, and lingering well past the last of the light.

ROCK BAR AT AYANA
Set on the rocks above the surf and reached by a small cable car, Rock Bar is the showy end of the sunset spectrum, 7.1km from the villa. Go early or make a reservation; the cliffside view genuinely earns the fuss.

Activities in Jimbaran
Kedonganan Fish Market
The morning ritual worth setting an alarm for: wander the market, pick your fish straight off the ice, then hand it to a nearby warung to be grilled for a small fee per kilo. 900m from the villa; cheaper than a restaurant and far more satisfying. Go early to pick the best catch.
Casa Padel Bali
Padel is the racquet sport everyone has suddenly taken up, and Casa Padel has proper courts just a short 4km drive away. Book a session, discover a few muscles you’d forgotten about, and comfortably earn your seafood dinner. Racquets and beginner coaching available.
SAKA Museum
6.2km from the villa, this museum sets Balinese ritual and craft against rotating contemporary shows, inside a building worth the trip on its own. A cool, quiet couple of hours when the pool has, briefly, had its turn. Check opening days before you go.
CULTURE & LIFESTYLE
More Experiences in Bali
Garuda Wisnu Kencana
5.6km from the villa, this cultural park is home to one of the tallest statues in the world, along with dance performances and long views across the south of the island. A big, breezy half-day out that keeps all ages occupied, and the photos rather take themselves.
Samasta Lifestyle Village
A cluster of cafés, restaurants and shops near the beach, handy for a low-effort lunch, coffees, or picking up the things you forgot to pack; all within 1.6km from the villa. Rooftop bars come into play later in the day, once the shopping is done.
Kecak Dance at Uluwatu Temple
Worth the 16.1km drive south: the Kecak fire dance, performed at sunset on the Uluwatu cliffs by a chanting circle of dozens, with the Indian Ocean as the backdrop. Book tickets ahead, as it reliably fills up. Another tip: leave early to beat the traffic.
